Emberwood is a non-hierarchal and non-pathologizing community collective that engages therapeutically with solitude, nature and art.

We facilitate therapeutic community experiences, guest lecture at post-secondary institutes, provide professional development and continuing education sessions, present key note sessions and provide pulpit supply for radically inclusive spiritual organizations, and offer a small number of 1-1 direct client support spaces each year.

Welcome to Emberwood, where we feel Solitude is radical, art is healing and rituals are shared. Jude Chaytors and Fergus Brooks-Starks solitude seekers, nature nerds, artists, writers, readers and queer folks who are building community practices and connections that increase our felt-sense of belonging, commitment to healing, and capacity to be present to one another.
